Here is the code for separating even and odd numbers in a list and then placing them in different lists:
numbers = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10]
evennumbers = [] oddnumbers = []
for number in numbers: if number%2 == 0: evennumbers.append(number) else: oddnumbers.append(number)
print("Even numbers:", evennumbers) print("Odd numbers:", oddnumbers)
Output: Even numbers: [2, 4, 6, 8, 10] Odd numbers: [1, 3, 5, 7, 9]
