You can use the following VBA code to open the datasheet view of a table in a different database:
Sub OpenExternalTable()
Dim db As Database
Dim strSQL As String
Set db = OpenDatabase("C:\Path\To\External\Database.accdb")
strSQL = "SELECT * FROM TableName"
DoCmd.OpenQuery strSQL, acViewNormal, acReadOnly
db.Close
End Sub
In this code, replace "C:\Path\To\External\Database.accdb" with the file path and name of the external database that contains the table you want to view.
Replace "TableName" with the name of the table you want to view.
When you run this code, the datasheet view of the specified table in the external database will open in read-only mode.
