To set up a pre-existing interpreter in Pycharm, follow these steps:

  1. Open Pycharm and click on "File" in the menu bar.
  2. Click on "Settings" or "Preferences" (for Mac users).
  3. In the left-hand panel, click on "Project Interpreter".
  4. In the right-hand panel, click on the gear icon and select "Add".
  5. Select "Existing environment".
  6. Browse to the directory of your pre-existing interpreter and select it.
  7. Pycharm will automatically detect the libraries associated with your interpreter, and you can click "OK" to finish the setup.

You can now use your pre-existing interpreter in Pycharm by selecting it as the project interpreter in the Run Configuration Dialog.
