Why does the SwiftUI VideoPlayer view only play the first frame of the video and then pause?

This could be due to a few reasons.

Firstly, make sure that the URL for the video file is correct and accessible.

Secondly, ensure that the video file is in a format supported by the VideoPlayer view (e.g. .mp4, .mov).

Thirdly, check that the video file is not corrupt or damaged.

If none of these solutions work, try adding the option .allowsExternalPlayback(true) to the VideoPlayer view, which allows the video to be played in an external player.
