To generate N GCP Compute instances with REST API, follow these steps:
Authenticate using your Google Cloud Platform account credentials and obtain the access token.
Make a POST request to the following endpoint: https://compute.googleapis.com/compute/v1/projects/{project}/zones/{zone}/instances
In the request body, specify the number of instances you want to create using the count
attribute. For example, if you want to create 5 instances, set the count
attribute to 5.
Specify the instance template using the sourceInstanceTemplate
attribute in the request body.
You can specify additional options such as machine type, disks, and network configuration using the request body.
Send the request and handle the response. The response will contain the details of the newly created instances.
Note: In the project
and zone
variables, specify the ID of the project and the name of the zone where you want to create the instances. Also, ensure that you have the necessary permissions for creating instances in the specified project and zone.
