To immediately checkout the latest commit of a branch that has been updated by a git pull, you can follow these steps:
Open your terminal or Git Bash window and navigate to the root directory of your Git repository.
Type "git status" to check if your repository's current branch is up-to-date with the remote repository.
If the status shows that the branch is behind the remote branch, type "git pull" to update your local repository with the latest changes.
Once the pull is complete, type "git checkout [branch name]" to switch to the branch you want to work on.
To make sure you have the latest commit of the branch, type "git pull" again. This will fetch any new changes on the branch and merge them with your local copy.
You can now start working on the latest commit of the branch.
