To create a library using IAR Embedded Workbench, follow these steps:
- Open IAR Embedded Workbench and create a new project.
- Select the project type as "Library" and specify the CPU and other settings as per your requirements.
- Add your source code files to the project by right-clicking on the project and selecting "Add existing file".
- Configure the build options for your library by right-clicking on the project and selecting "Options".
- In the "General options" tab, specify the library name, version, and other details.
- In the "Library options" tab, specify the target processor, the size of the library, and other options.
- Build the library by clicking on the "Make" button in the toolbar or by selecting "Build" from the "Project" menu.
- Once the library is built successfully, you can find the library file (.a or .lib) in the output directory specified in the build options.
You can now use this library file in your other projects by linking it during the build process.
