In ReactJS, components can be displayed or hidden from other components by using conditional rendering. This is done by including a conditional statement within the JSX code for the component.
For example, to display a component based on a certain condition, we can use the ternary operator as follows:
{isDisplayed ? <Component /> : null}
Here, if the isDisplayed
variable is true, the component will be rendered. Otherwise, it will not be displayed.
Similarly, to hide a component based on a certain condition, we can use the same conditional statement, but with a different flag. For instance, to hide the component when isHidden
is true:
{isHidden ? null : <Component />}
Here, if isHidden
is true, the component will not be rendered. Similarly, if it is false, the component will be displayed.
