There are a few potential solutions to addressing text size errors in After Effects expressions:

  1. Reformat the Text Layer: If the text layer is not large enough to accommodate the expression's output, it will display a text size error. To fix this, try resizing the text layer so that it is large enough to accommodate the expression's output. This can be done by selecting the text layer and adjusting its dimensions in the Composition panel.

  2. Adjust the Expression's Output: If the expression's output is too large for the text layer, this can also result in a text size error. To fix this, adjust the expression's output so that it is within the bounds of the text layer. This can be done by modifying the expression's settings, or by using an expression that calculates a smaller output.

  3. Change the Font Size: If the text layer is unable to display the expression's output due to font size limitations, try increasing the font size. To do this, select the text layer and adjust the font size in the Character panel.

  4. Reformat the Text Property: In some cases, the text size error may be due to a formatting issue with the text property. To fix this, try reformatting the text property by selecting the text layer, choosing the Text tool, and adjusting the format options (such as tracking and leading) in the Character panel.
