Yes, GraphDB automatically eliminates duplicate triples during query evaluation. This is because of the essence of RDF triple stores which mandates the uniqueness of subject-predicate-object triple as the basic unit of information representation. Therefore, duplicate triples cannot be stored generally in a well-formed RDF graph. However, GraphDB has different types of reasoning capabilities designed to eliminate more complex forms of redundancy, such as inferring additional triples that can be derived from existing triples using inference rules.
