To turn off automatic backspacing in Excel VBA editor, follow these steps:

1. Open the VBA editor in Excel by pressing ALT + F11.
2. Click on "Tools" from the menu bar and select "Options".
3. In the "Editor" tab, uncheck the "Auto Syntax Check" option.
4. Click "OK" to save the changes.

This will disable the automatic backspacing feature in the VBA editor.
