The access principle when iptables
mode is used by kube-proxy
is that every Node in the Kubernetes cluster maintains its own iptables
rules that redirect the traffic to the appropriate Pods. This means that each Node has a local view of the network and is able to route traffic without having to query a central controller. This makes the networking more scalable and fault-tolerant, as failure of a single Node does not affect the routing of the traffic.
