To establish a connection between Denodo and an AWS Glue Job, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the AWS Glue Console and create a new Glue job.

  2. Choose the data source you want to connect to Denodo. Glue can connect to various data sources, like Amazon S3, JDBC, Amazon DynamoDB, etc.

  3. Once you have selected your data source, create a connection to it. You may need to provide credentials for authentication.

  4. In Denodo, create a new virtual database to represent the data source you just connected to in AWS Glue. You can use the JDBC data source type and configure it with the same credentials you used for the Glue connection.

  5. Create a view in Denodo to define the data you want to pull from the data source. You can use Denodo's query language, VQL, to define the view and filter the data as needed.

  6. Create a Glue job using the virtual database and view you created in Denodo. Glue will use the virtual database as its data source and execute the VQL query defined in the view.

  7. Run the Glue job to pull data from the virtual database in Denodo and load it into your target data store or output location.

With this approach, you can leverage Denodo's data integration and virtualization capabilities and combine them with Glue's data processing and ETL functionality to create a powerful data pipeline.
