To turn off automatic backspacing in the Excel VBA editor, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Excel VBA editor by pressing Alt + F11.
  2. Click on the "Tools" menu in the VBA editor.
  3. Select "Options" from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the Options dialog box, click on the "Editor" tab.
  5. Uncheck the box next to "Auto Syntax Check".
  6. Click "OK" to save the changes.

By turning off the "Auto Syntax Check" option, you can prevent the VBA editor from automatically backspacing and removing code as you type. However, you may need to manually check your code for syntax errors instead.
