There are many ways to give new names to files located in subfolders, but here are the basic steps:

  1. Open the folder where the files are located.
  2. Navigate to the subfolder where the files you want to rename are located.
  3. Select the files you want to rename by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on each file, or by clicking and dragging the mouse over the files.
  4. Right-click on one of the selected files and choose "Rename" from the context menu.
  5. Type in the new name you want to give to the selected files.
  6. Press Enter to apply the new name to all the selected files.

Note: If you want to rename many files at once and want to avoid renaming each file individually, you may consider using a batch file renaming tool such as Bulk Rename Utility or Advanced Renamer. These tools allow you to apply complex renaming rules to multiple files located in subfolders, saving you a lot of time and effort.
