To access and open an already existing project on IntelliJ IDEA after installation, follow these steps:

1. Open IntelliJ IDEA on your computer.
2. On the welcome screen, click on the "Open" button.
3. Navigate to the directory/folder where your project is located.
4. Select the project folder and click on the "OK" button.
5. IntelliJ IDEA will open the project and show your project files in the project view.

Alternatively, if you already have a project open in IntelliJ IDEA, you can access another project by selecting "File" from the top menu, then "Open" and selecting the directory/folder of the existing project.
