The process of running a SQL statement in Power Automate involves the following:

  1. Select the SQL Server Connector: To connect to the SQL server, select the SQL Server connector under the "Connectors" tab.

  2. Set up the connection: Once you have selected the connector, set up the connection by entering the necessary details such as the server name, database name, username, and password.

  3. Configure the SQL Action: After setting up the connection, select the SQL action that you want to use from the list of available actions. The available actions may include executing a SQL query, inserting data into a SQL database, or updating existing data in the database.

  4. Add SQL statement: Next, you need to add the SQL statement that you want to execute. You can either write the statement manually or use the dynamic content feature to insert data from other sources.

  5. Run the SQL statement: Once you have configured the SQL action and added the SQL statement, you can run the statement by clicking on the "Run" button. The results will be displayed on the screen, and you can use them accordingly.
