To include a guideline in the Visual Studio editor, follow these steps:

1. Open the Visual Studio editor.
2. Right-click on the vertical ruler to the left of the code editor window.
3. Select "Add Guideline".

5. Choose a color and style for the guideline from the options provided.
6. Click "OK".
