The DocuSign API supports a range of document IDs depending on the type of operation being performed. These include:

  1. Document GUID: A unique identifier assigned by DocuSign to each document in the system.

  2. Envelope ID: A unique identifier assigned by DocuSign to each envelope that contains one or more documents.

  3. Document Sequence Number: A number assigned to each document within an envelope, indicating its position in the envelope.

  4. Attachment ID: A unique identifier assigned by DocuSign to each attachment that is associated with a document.

  5. Content ID: A unique identifier assigned by DocuSign to each document that is included in an email or webhook notification.
