If you cannot find the update option in the Play Store app, here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check if an update is available: Open the Play Store app and tap on the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner. From the menu, select "My apps & games." Here, you will see a list of all the apps that you have installed on your device. If an update is available for any of them, you will see the "Update" option next to the app's name.

  2. Clear the Play Store cache and data: Go to your device's "Settings" and select "Apps & notifications." From here, select "Google Play Store" and tap on "Storage & cache." Now, tap on "Clear cache" and "Clear data." This will remove any stored data or cache related to the Play Store app and might help in resolving the issue.

  3. Update Play Store manually: If the above steps don't work, try downloading and installing the latest version of the Play Store app manually. You can download the APK file from trusted sources like APKMirror and install it on your device. Make sure to enable the "Unknown sources" option in your device's security settings before installing the APK file.

  4. Check for device updates: If none of the above steps work, check if there are any pending software updates for your device. Sometimes, an outdated device software can cause issues with the Play Store app.

If you are still unable to see the update option in the Play Store app after trying the above steps, you can contact the Google Play support team for further assistance.
