Yes, it is possible to use the parameter subnet in conjunction with the parameter groupName. When launching an instance in Amazon Web Services (AWS), you can specify the name of a security group using the parameter groupName, and also specify the ID of a subnet using the parameter subnet. This allows you to launch the instance in a specific subnet within your VPC, while at the same time apply the necessary security rules using the specified security group.
