To configure a connection timeout in Azure API Management, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Azure portal and open your API Management instance.
  2. Go to the API Management service dashboard and click on the “APIs” option from the left menu.
  3. Select the API that you want to configure connection timeout for and click on it.
  4. Go to the “Settings” tab and click on the “Backend” option.
  5. Scroll down to the “Backend HTTP settings” section and click on the “Edit” button.
  6. In the “Edit Backend HTTP settings” pane, scroll down to the “Timeouts” section.
  7. Under the “Connection timeout” field, enter the time in seconds that you want to set the connection timeout for.
  8. Click on the “Save” button to apply the changes.

Once the configuration is complete, the connection timeout for the selected API in Azure API Management will be updated according to the value set in the “Connection timeout” field.
