The method for identifying words that are frequently repeated within an Excel column is as follows:

  1. Select the column or range of cells containing the text you want to analyze.
  2. Click on the "Data" tab in the top menu bar.
  3. Click on the "Sort & Filter" button, and select "Sort A to Z."
  4. Select the column or range of cells again.
  5. Click on the "Formulas" tab in the top menu bar.
  6. Click on the "More Functions" dropdown menu, and select "Statistical."
  7. Select the "MODE.SNGL" function.
  8. In the "Number1" field, highlight the range of cells you want to analyze.
  9. Press "Enter," and the most frequently repeated word will be displayed.

You can also use Excel's conditional formatting feature to highlight the cells that contain the most frequently repeated words in a column. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Select the range of cells that you want to analyze.
  2. Click on the "Home" tab in the top menu bar.
  3. Click on the "Conditional Formatting" button, and select "Highlight Cells Rules" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on "Duplicate Values" from the submenu.
  5. In the "Format cells that contain" dropdown, select "values with."
  6. In the value field next to it, enter "1."
  7. Choose a color or format to highlight the cells that contain the most frequently repeated word.
  8. Click "OK," and the cells containing the most frequently repeated word will be highlighted.
