To recover a snapshot while using a personalized parameter group:

  1. Sign in to your AWS Management Console.

  2. Navigate to the RDS dashboard and select the DB instance you want to recover.

  3. Click the "Instance actions" button and select "Restore to point in time."

  4. In the "Restore DB instance" page, select the snapshot you want to recover and choose "Restore to a new DB instance."

  5. In the "Configuration" section, select the "Use a custom DB parameter group" option and choose the personalized parameter group you want to use.

  6. Configure the remaining parameters as per your requirement.

  7. Click the "Restore DB instance" button to recover the snapshot using your personalized parameter group.

After the restoration is complete, you can connect to your database using the same connection details as before.
