One way to populate identical IDs with the same values is to use a formula or a fill handle in Excel. Here are the steps:

  1. Enter the ID and value for the first row.
  2. Select both cells and hover your mouse over the bottom right corner of the selected cells until you see a crosshair cursor.
  3. Click and drag the cursor down the column to fill in the same values for the remaining cells with identical IDs.
  4. Release the mouse button to complete the fill.

Alternatively, you can use the "paint format" tool in Excel to copy and paste the formatting of the first row to the remaining rows with identical IDs. Here are the steps:

  1. Select the first row with the desired formatting.
  2. Click the "paint format" tool in the "Home" tab of the ribbon.
  3. Click and drag over the remaining rows with identical IDs to apply the formatting.
  4. Release the mouse button to complete the formatting.
