After executing the cmake command, what is the reason for the build directories being devoid of any content?

It is possible that the cmake command encountered errors and did not generate any files, or that the cmake command was executed in the wrong directory. Another possibility is that the cmake command was not configured correctly or did not include the necessary parameters to generate the desired output.
