To assign a GCP Monitoring Alert Policy to individual GCE instances, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Cloud Console and navigate to the Monitoring page.

  2. Click on "Alerting" from the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Click on "Create Policy" to create a new alert policy.

  4. Give your policy a name and set the conditions for the alert you want to create.

  5. Under "Resource Type", select "Google Compute Engine Instance".

  6. In the "Filter" section, add the name of the specific GCE instance you want to monitor.

  7. Save the alert policy.

After you've created the alert policy, it will automatically monitor the specified GCE instance and alert you if the conditions you set are met.
