When using Ggplot2's geom_bar in polar coordinates, the Y-axis represents the radius or distance from the center of the plot rather than the actual values. This can be confusing for interpreting the height or length of the bars, as they are not directly proportional to the numeric values they represent. Additionally, the Y-axis scale is automatically adjusted to fit the range of values, which can also distort the visual representation of the data. So, it is recommended to use another type of plot, such as a stacked bar chart, if the intention is to accurately represent the actual values.
