The "Authentication required: The login keyring did not get unlocked" message appears when the login keyring does not automatically unlock during startup. This can happen if the keyring password is different from your user account password or if you've disabled automatic login. Here's how you can resolve this issue:

Method 1: Synchronize your login and keyring passwords

Open the "Passwords and Keys" application by searching for it in the application menu or by running seahorse from the terminal. In the left pane, right-click on "Login" under "Passwords" and select "Change Password." Enter your current keyring password (if you don't know it, try your user account password). Set the new password to be the same as your user account password. Click "OK" to apply the changes. The next time you log in, the keyring should unlock automatically.

Method 2: Remove the keyring password (less secure)

Open the "Passwords and Keys" application as mentioned in Method 1. In the left pane, right-click on "Login" under "Passwords" and select "Change Password." Enter your current keyring password. Leave the new password fields blank, and click "OK" to apply the changes. This will remove the password from your keyring. Confirm the warning message and proceed. Be aware that this method is less secure, as it stores your keyring data unencrypted. Use it only if you are comfortable with the security implications.

Method 3: Disable keyring auto-lock

If you're using auto-login, you can disable the keyring auto-lock feature to prevent the keyring from locking at startup.

Open the "Passwords and Keys" application as mentioned in Method 1. Click on the "View" menu and select "Preferences." Uncheck the box for "Automatically lock keyrings after," and click "Close." Restart your computer. These methods should resolve the "Authentication required: The login keyring did not get unlocked" message in Ubuntu.
