To apply a filter to the "Name" column in a SharePoint Document Library, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Document Library you want to filter.
  2. Click on the "Name" column header to sort the items by name.
  3. Click on the "Filter" option in the column header.
  4. Select the criteria you want to filter by, such as a specific file type or name.
  5. Click on the "Apply" button to apply the filter.
  6. The Document Library will display only the items that meet the filter criteria.
  7. To remove the filter, click on the "Filter" option again and select "Clear Filter."
