The method for specifying the initial directory for a scheduled task using CMD is to add the "Start in (optional)" field in the "Edit Action" window of the Task Scheduler.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Task Scheduler by typing "Task Scheduler" in the Start menu search bar.
  2. Select the task in the list that you want to edit.
  3. Click on the "Actions" tab.
  4. Click on the "Edit" button.
  5. In the "Edit Action" window, click on the "Start in (optional)" field.
  6. Type the path of the initial directory that you want to use.
  7. Click on the "OK" button to save the changes.

Once you have specified the initial directory, the scheduled task will start in that directory every time it runs.
