To find all empty directories in Windows:

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Navigate to the directory (or drive) that you want to search
  3. In the search box in the top-right corner, enter the following search string:

    kind:empty folder

  4. Press Enter.

Windows will now search for all folders that have no contents and display the results. You can then delete any empty folders that you no longer need.
