The reason behind the absence of AIM symbols identifiers in GS1 Application Identifier data when using ZXing and ZBar is because AIM Symbols are not a part of the GS1 specification. AIM (Automatic Identification Manufacturers) is a separate organization that has its own symbology standards for barcodes. While some AIM symbologies may be supported by ZXing and ZBar, they are not compatible with GS1 Application Identifiers.
