To determine if the right alt key produces the Ctrl+Alt (AltGr) combination in the present Windows layout, you can do the following:

  1. Press the right alt key on your keyboard.
  2. While holding down the right alt key, press any other key that produces a special character, such as the '@' symbol or the euro symbol.
  3. If the special character appears, then your right alt key is functioning as the AltGr key and is producing the Ctrl+Alt (AltGr) combination.
  4. If the special character does not appear or produces a different character, then your right alt key may not be configured to work as the AltGr key and you may need to change your keyboard layout or check your keyboard settings.
