Cookies are meant to be specific to a single domain and the path of the URL. If you open a website in a different window, it is considered a separate session, and the browser treats it as a new domain/path with a different cookie. Therefore, cookies are not shared across different windows of the browser, even if they belong to the same website. However, some modern browsers have features like "session syncing" or "multi-session browsing" that allow users to synchronize cookie information across different windows or tabs for specific websites.
