What is the process for adding a banner or image to the starting or index page in Shopware version 6.4.x?

  1. Log in to the Shopware administration panel.
  2. Click on "Content" in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click on "Layouts" and choose the layout you want to edit.
  4. Click on the "Edit" button in the "Actions" column.
  5. Scroll down to the "Sections" tab and click on the "+" button to add a new section.
  6. Choose "Banner" or "Image" from the drop-down menu and fill in the required fields, such as the image or banner URL, alt text, and link.
  7. Save the section by clicking on the "Save" button.
  8. To display the section on the index page, go to "Content" > "Pages" and choose the homepage in the list.
  9. Click on the "Layout" tab and select the layout you edited earlier.
  10. Drag the section you created earlier to the desired position on the page.
  11. Save your changes by clicking on the "Save" button.
