There are a few steps you can follow to add a background image to a single content page in SharePoint 2010:

  1. Open the page in SharePoint Designer.
  2. Click on the "Design" tab in the ribbon and select "CSS Styles".
  3. In the "CSS Styles" task pane, click on "New Style" and select "New CSS Rule".
  4. In the "New CSS Rule" dialog box, choose "body" as the selector type and click "OK".
  5. In the "CSS Styles" task pane, click on the newly created style and click "Edit Style".
  6. In the "Edit Style" dialog box, click on the "Background" tab and then click on "Browse" to select your image.
  7. Adjust any other properties as needed, such as position, repeat, and size.
  8. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Your page should now have a background image applied to it.
